We are basically active in three  main fields: (1) foreign investments, (2) international and corporate work in general; and (3) Environmental Law. With regard to foreign investments the firm handles mergers and acquisitions, negotiations of joint venture agreements and the creation and establishment of branches, affiliates or subsidiaries of foreign companies. We also deal with all aspects of real estate transactions. As a consequence of these activities, we have developed a comprehensive corporate law practice. In connection with international transactions, we deal with international sales contracts, distribution and agency agreements and industrial as well as commercial franchising and license agreements Most of our activities in the corporate and environmental areas are done for our foreign corporate clients, either directly or through their local subsidiaries. We have participated in different international and national environmental projects; some of them in coordination with leading US and European law firms. With regard to specific areas of business, the activities of our main clients have allowed us to gain material expertise in key areas such as telecommunications, hazardous waste treatment and disposal, energy and natural resources, the automobile and fishing industries.
